My Mom got Olive and my niece Noel matching dresses for Christmas, so we did an impromptu photo shoot in my Mom's kitchen. Definitely not professional quality but we got some cute pictures of some very cute girls in cute dresses!

The whole fam came over to Nana and Papa's for pizza on Saturday night and Olive got to play with Aunt RiRi's dog Sammy! He is the sweetest chocolate lab, who is actually sick (he has leukemia), but you would never know it! They were cute together. Olive even got Sammy to sit, lay down and roll over. It was a total fluke, but it was pretty cool!

Max the Basketball Pro

We got to go to my nephew's basketball game today! He is doing so great! Max is in 3rd grade and is one of the younger ones on the team, but hes one of the tallest too! He loves basketball, so I am sure there will be many more games in the future for us to watch!

I got to test out the sports mode on my camera - I think I took some decent shots!

Olive and I are in Vancouver for the weekend hanging out with Nana and Papa. Olive loves them so much, its cute how my dad plays with her. She had fun lining up her Little People on N&Ps table. Today we got to see her Aunties and Cousins and even got to watch Cousin Max play basketball, Olive seemed to enjoy it. More pics from the weekend later! We are having so much fun - but we miss you Daddy!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today is Olive's Daddy's 34th Birthday!! Olive was so sweet and decided to wake up at 5am this morning just for Daddy! (ugh!) She was in better spirits this afternoon when he opened his gifts - she was definitely into opening his gifts, much more than even at Christmas time. We then went out for Mexican and then a Birthday Blizzard! It was a low key but fun birthday evening. Now Brad is currently playing his new Playstation Move game!

Zoo trip with friends!

For our first healthy weekend in a while we decided to meet some friends at the Zoo! We haven't been there in a while and thankfully the rain let up today. It was a little chilly but we still had fun. We met Ben, Andy & Leann there and strolled around for a little bit. We were there really early so it was nice and quiet (which was actually pretty nice). It seemed like the animals were all just waking up too! Like all of our zoo trips we only got to see a portion of the zoo, and since it was the Wagele's first time - I am sure we will be meeting them there again soon!

The River Otters were so cute - definitely our favorite this trip. They are hard to see in this picture but they were swimming right next to the window. They really have cute faces.

1st Peps playdate of 2011

Our Peps group is meeting again, and Olive and I couldn't be more excited! We have really missed seeing everyone on a regular basis!! Piper (& her baby brother), Eka, Kara & Tess (and their mommies) all came over to play with us this morning - and it was tons of fun! Looking forward to another great year with our Peps pals - and the new additions to the group (2 of the Moms have new babies coming in June! Yeah!)!!

Sweater skirt

I got this adorable sweater skirt for Olive sometime last year from the Issaquah Farmer's Market - this woman takes old sweaters and turns them into gorgeous skirts for kids!! This one is kinda wacky with the colors, but so cute! It worked perfectly with her white owl shirt. Olive struck a few poses for me!

Attack of the Sickies!

Well I haven't been posting (even though we have been taking pictures) mainly because the cold and virus monsters have been visiting us the past few weekends and it hasn't been pretty!! 2 weekends ago we all had a cold - and a pretty bad one, at least on the adults! And then this weekend - we must have gotten the rotovirus - because one by one we all started losing our dinners!! Olive started in the middle of the night on Friday and Brad and I started on Sunday!! Oh it was disgusting! Thankfully everyone is feeling much better now! I can only think that Olive probably got it at the Children's Museum that we visited on Wed., I just wish she didn't love playing with play food so much! ugh!!

We are really hoping the sickies will stay away for the rest of the year! (yeah, right!) We have had plenty already!

New Camera!!

I have been complaining for a while about how slow my little camera is - I love how cute and portable it is, but as Olive gets bigger and faster, I could never get a picture of her face. Well my darling husband found a good deal on an entry level refurbished DSLR camera and bought it for us! It is so fast and definitely takes better pics than my little camera. I am just so excited to be getting pictures of Olive's face again, even if she does look like a scruffy ragamuffin sometimes!!
