Happy 1st Birthday Tess!

The first baby from our PEPS group turned ONE this week! Quintessa Wolfe turned 1 on May 27th and we went to her bday party yesterday. Eka, Kara, Olive, Cole and Tess had fun playing with all the toys, eating bagel balls and cheese and oooing and ahhing at the cool balloons that they got to take home with them! Thanks Tess! Happy Happy 1st Birthday!

Now the 1st Birthdays will just keep coming for the PEPS kids, it's going to be a fun summer! Wow! Has it already been a whole year!

Love Aunt RiRi

Olive loved hanging out with her Aunties while we were in Vancouver. Here are some good pics and a fun video of Olive and Aunt RiRi (Rianne is my youngest sister). Sadly we didn't get any pics with Aunt Annie - but definitely when she comes up and stays with us in a few weeks.

Fun in the Couv

Olive and I went to Vancouver for a few days earlier this week and we had a blast! Scentsy party at Aunt Annie's, mall shopping with Aunt RiRi and hanging out each night with Nana and Papa. We even got pictures taken with all of the cousins - can't wait to see those!!
Aunt Tonya and Owen even came over to visit. As long as she got to bed at the right times, Olive slept great!! Fun Times!

Hanging with Buddy Ben

Ben and his parents came over for brunch a few weeks ago - its always great to see them! They only live in West Seattle but we only see them once a month if we are lucky! The kiddos were great all through the crepe brunch - with Ben in Olive's high chair and Olive in the bouncer. Just before they left (for naptime) we had to do a photo shoot. Ben is so cute and photogenic!! Olive really wanted the buttons on his overalls!!

Can't wait to do it again! Soon!

Babies in the pink dress!

Olive and I are Nana and Papa's house in Vancouver this week, so I pulled out the pictures of me and my sister in the pink crocheted dress that our Great Great Great Grandmother made for our mother (that would be Olive's GGGG-GMa). Olive is only 6 months old in this picture and I am about 8 months. I almost thinks she looks more like my sister! But I can definitely tell she has daddy's face shape! Too funny! What do you think?

All cute babies of course, and amazing that the dress is in such great shape, it will be fun to keep passing it down to the little girls in our family!

Gotta love the used toys!

I have been wanting to get Olive an activity table for a while now, but just didn't want to pay $40+ for a new one, so I have been looking at the kids consignment stores occasionally - well I finally found one for $15 at the Issaquah kids consignment store! And I also found a cute Fisher Price chair! Olive is tested them out - at the same time (with a little help from Daddy)!

Fun in the Sun!

Last weekend Brad had Friday off and since it was such beautiful weather he started a project he had been wanting to do for a while - building a small wall along the front landscape bed. Olive and I camped out on the front lawn to play and watch him work. Since it was so warm Olive got to wear her cute little creeper and her sunhat!

So cute in her sunhat!

Relaxing baby!
The finished wall! Great job Brad!

1st Outdoor meal

Mother's Day was so beautiful outside we just had to have dinner on the deck. Brad washed off the table and chairs and the sunshade so we could enjoy the outdoors. We moved Olive's highchair outside and had a nice dinner (Chinese takeout)! Looking forward to many more dinners on the deck this summer!

My 1st Mother's Day!

My 1st Mother's Day was fabulous! Olive gave me the cutest card and a cover for my new iPod Touch - so thoughtful! And Daddy helped her pick out a ton of flowers! Something we both have been enjoying all week!! Still can't believe I am a Mom sometimes, it's been fabulous!

The best gift ever!

Pretty flowers for Mommy's Day!

Happy 1st Birthday Jack!

Cousin Jack turned ONE last weekend on May 8th and we got to celebrate with him! We got there a little late and Jack was enjoying his birthday cupcake! It was a super fun party! Happy Birthday Jack!

Cheese!

Olive is now into feeding herself and one of her favorite things so far is CHEESE! Mommy put shredded cheese on her tray and she kept shoveling it in, using both hands to make sure it got in her mouth! Too funny! Now the adventure really begins with food!

9 Months Old!

Wow!! Olive is 9 Months Old today! Crazy!
She is finally rolling around and now likes to take her naps on her tummy.
She will pull herself up to standing while holding onto your hands and she loves to stand next to the ottoman.
She is now into finger foods and actually prefers them to purees - unless its yogurt though!
And cheese, oh my gosh thats good - look for another post on that soon!
She loves to talk (also known as screeching) and says OOOOO at everything.
She is getting so big and will be moving all over in no time! She is generally a happy baby, but has a little case of separation anxiety at the moment.
Wow! 9 months old! Isn't she cute!

In Poop Purgatory

Its been too long since I have blogged, but we have been in poop purgatory for the past week.

Olive and I went to Vancouver last week (Monday April 26th) to visit Nana and Papa and the Aunties - right as we got there she came down with a fever - she was burning hot! Thankfully the fever was low grade, but she was miserable. So we cut the trip short and came home the next day and went to the doctor - she had a start of an ear infection and we were given antibiotics - few days into the meds and the poop began! Seriously every diaper is poopy and now she has a raging diaper rash that hurts her! Its horrible changing her diaper! I am so ready for this to be over with - its stressing me out just as much as her! Poor baby!!
