We had a super fun morning today at the Seattle Children's Museum with some of our Peps friends! The kiddos are getting so big! Its fun to see them running around and interacting! So much fun!

Olive got to go to her friend Tess' house and play while Mommy and Daddy had another look at Peanut via ultrasound. She had a fabulous afternoon and it was even hard to get her to leave. She must have played her little heart out because she crashed right on time and went down with no problems! Thanks Julie for the pictures of the girls playing!! And thank you so much for letting Olive hang with you guys!!

Big Sister!

We are so excited to finally be able to announce that Olive is going to be a BIG SISTER!!! I am 12 weeks along with baby #2! We had our 12 week ultrasound this week and everything is going great. Peanut (as we have been calling the baby) is due October 9, 2011!! Olive is going to be a fabulous big sister!

Playdate with Jack

Our cousins Lauren and Jack came over for a playdate this weekend. We hadn't seen them in a while, so it was great to get to play. Jack is talking up a storm just like Olive. He will be 2 in May! After a warm up they started to sort of play together. Pretty much once they figured out they both liked the dump truck!

Morning at the zoo

Olive and I took advantage of the beautiful day yesterday and spent the morning at the zoo!! It was so nice but we got there when they opened and there weren't too many animals out and awake yet - but we still had fun. We finally got to check out Zoomazium - which was nice for Olive to run around a little. I didn't take too many pictures, but here are a few. Looking forward to more nice mornings at the zoo!

We had a nice weekend, last weekend - so we got to play at the park a little bit. Olive is getting better at navigating the playground and even trying out the play structures. She still loves the swings! A few tears as we were leaving but thats not anything new (or anything that will be stopping soon!). So looking forward to the late Spring/Summer when we can string a few nice days together!

Playing in the rocks at home! Okay so this is becoming her favorite thing to do, if we are outside at our house she immediately runs over to the rocks and sits down to play with them! Our kid loves Rocks!

New food

We finally gave Olive the crocheted food I made, as a late St. Patrick's Day gift! I even covered a shopping bag to make her own personalized one. She seems to like the food. She didn't go as crazy about as I thought she would - but she still likes it. She is even getting good at naming all of the food!

19 Months old & 18 mo pics

Olive is already 19 months and 1 week! I have been a little lazy about posting and hadn't had a chance to post her 18 month pics! We went to Yuen Lui a few days after she turned 18 months and had a cute photo session in her new Valentine dress from Grandma Robertson! We got some great ones! Here are just a few!

Where's Olive?

Olive loves to get into baskets, boxes, whatever she fits in! This day Daddy decided to fill up the basket with all of her friends too! A very ET moment!

Outside

Olive was getting a little bored this morning in the house, so since it was raining we decided to venture outside for a little walk. After walking up and down Nana & Papa's street (kicking rocks and pinecones along the way), Papa put Olive in the back of his new truck to play. Gotta love the truck pack and plays! I got my camera out and started playing with the manual settings, I still have a lot of learning and practice in my future - but hey its a start!

She likes her animals and dolls, but she also loves getting dirty and playing with the rocks!!

We are in Vancouver this weekend visiting my family. Nana & Papa were working when we got into town so we went and visited Tonya and Owen (pics/post to come later). Then got to hang out with Nana and the girls! Aunt Annie, Aunt RiRi and some darling little girls came over to visit.

Since Papa is working swing shift now he was at work last night when we got here, so Olive had to wait until this morning to see him. And then got all morning to play with him!!

Jewels

Olive is starting to get into playing dress up and has been putting things on her wrists like bracelets. I let her wear some beads and a few bracelets of mine the other day. She loved the pretties and walked around and played with them on for about 20 minutes. Very cute!
