25 weeks today!

15 weeks to go! Wow time really flys! One of the baby sites I read says she is the size of an eggplant now. My belly is looking rounder and definitely feeling bigger, and she has been kicking a lot. This morning she was kicking so hard I thought she was going to bust out!

Her room is finished!! I promise to post pictures this weekend. I am currently working on painting/refinishing the barbie house that my dad made us when we were kids. I am going to put it in her room and use it for toy/book storage until she is old enough to play with it. It is going to be sooooo cute!!

Anyway thats the update, will post pics soon!!

Apollo likes the baby's room

Brad and I were working on some finishing touches (paint touch ups) in the baby's room and Apollo decided that a good place to nap would be under the crib. At first he started just with his head under and eventually inched all the way under - and actually fell asleep. Funny and cute! Brad got some pics with his phone!

Daddy got kicked in the head!

Just a funny antic. We were sitting on the couch last night and I had been seeing the baby kick, so Brad put his head on my tummy and was talking to her, telling her to kick Daddy. Then almost on command, she kicked him in the head. And then again! It was too funny!!!

She normally doesn't move when Brad puts his hand on my belly - we think its because his hands are so warm and they put her back to sleep! It will be weird when we can really see her move in there!

Bouncy Baby!

Almost 23 weeks now (will be on Thursday) - so we are into the 6th month now and she is moving all the time. Brad got to feel her for the first time last week and he usually feels a kick a day or so now. I have been feeling her more and more in the last few days. She is definitely getting stronger!

We have another ultrasound tomorrow so we will get more pictures and double check that she is a girl!! Her room is almost done and its sooo cute! I will post pics as soon as we complete a few more projects!

Can't wait to see her tomorrow (on the ultrasound)!!

The room is coming together!

One of my beautiful and talented sisters, Annie, came up this past weekend and helped (well she did all the work) put some art up on the walls of the baby's room!! She executed my vision perfectly and I absolutely love it!! I promise to post pics of the whole room once we complete a few more projects, but here is a sneak peek of Annie's awesome artistic abilities!!
