Happy Birthday Papa!

Today is Olive's Papa's Birthday!!

We went down to Vancouver earlier this week to see my family and help celebrate (a little early) my Dad's birthday. Mom and I are going to walk/run a 1/2 marathon in October so we wanted to do a long walk - Dad was kind enough to skip a fishing trip and hang out with Olive that morning so we could go walk/run for 2-1/2 hours! Ugh! Well of course Olive had a blast and even had a good morning nap! Thanks Dad!

We celebrated Papa's birthday a day early, since we had to head home the morning of his actual birthday - by treating him to some Mexican food. Olive loves her Nana and Papa and really liked the lime Papa gave her (pics soon)! We had a great time!

Happy Birthday Papa! We love you sooooooooo much!

Papa, Olive and Nana after sharing some Fried Ice Cream!! Yum!

Pink high heels

Olive likes to go into our closet and check out all of the shoes! She actually has a favorite pair that she pulls out every time she goes into the closet, a pair of pink woven looking heels. It's funny that she grabs the same shoe every time! The girl has good taste! =)

Fun times in Mommy and Daddy's closet!

What are you looking at?

Do you think it will fit?

I'm outta here, with my favorite shoe!

Fun at Gymboree! (and the mall playspace)

We signed up for classes at Gymboree Play & Music last week after our preview class in Issaquah, then a day before our first official class, they called to tell us that the Issaquah location was closing! How's that for timing! Well they are honoring our pricing (which is cheaper) at the Bellevue Square location - and yesterday was our first class there.

We had a little time to kill, so Brad and Olive ran around the mall playspace - she loves that place now, especially since she 100% walking on her own (oh and just learned how to stand up without holding anything - today!). Then we headed into class - and she was very active and loved playing with all the balls! Fun stuff!

Love the fishy!

She ran right up to this and was the first kiddo to test out her balance!

Hula Hoop

Playing with the rings! Her favorites were all the fun balls, but Daddy didn't get a pic of that!

Go Cougs!

So she didn't bring them any luck this weekend - but man she sure looks cute!!! Future Coug or Vandal? Its gonna be a fight for sure!! =)

Fun things with a diaper box!

How much fun can you have with the Costco diaper box? TONS! Brad turned it into a car and added all of Olive's friends and has been driving them around for the past few days. Olive loves it and takes her friends out and puts them back in. It's too cute!!

Are you ready for some Football!

The Wagele's had a NFL Football Season kick off party (more of a get together) last Sunday - chili (yum!) and the Seahawks v. 49ers game on tv. Brad is a HUGE 49ers fan, and I have never really been a big Seahawks fan, so I figure - hey their colors are cute, why not! Olive didn't have any 49ers gear so I made her a onesie and hair clip - with some fabric I had found in Idaho a long time ago! It turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself.

Well the game didn't turn out that great for the 49ers but the chili and company were awesome! Olive and Ben played during the game and everyone had a good time - okay maybe the boys didn't - both being 49ers fans, they were a little depressed! Hopefully the Niners improve, or this is going to be a very LONG season!

Go Niners!

Watching football with Daddy!

So cute in their Niners duds!

Ben's parents are Niners fans too! Don't they look so cute!

Yes it's Football Season!

Brad is definitely happy that College Football is back! It was never more apparent than this morning when I look up and on the TV there are 4 - yes FOUR! games on the TV. And he was listening to an entirely different game as well - so 5 games at the same time - are you kidding me! It still throws me off when he listens to one game on the radio and watches another one (without sound) on the TV - which happens at least a few times a season with the Vandals or 49ers, since they aren't always on TV. Crazy!

Olive will definitely not be a stranger to football and already seems like she likes it - we will see! Going to her first football viewing party tomorrow at the Wageles - should be fun!

Yep 4 games at once - thanks to ESPN 360 via the computer.

Thumbs up from Brad - watching/listening to the morning games in his pjs (he gets a pass today since he isn't feeling well).

New pack and play

Who knew the back of Daddy's truck would be so much fun!! Brad threw Olive in the back of his truck - probably to distract her from the dog - and she loved it! She walked all around and played peekaboo with Daddy and cousin Lauren. Cousin Jack even joined in the fun!

This is the coolest playyard ever!

Look at Mommy!

Playing peekaboo with Lauren

Ahh so nice Jack!

Dog obsession

"Dog, Dog, Dog, Dog, Dog, Dog, Dog"

That's pretty much all you could hear whenever Olive spotted a dog while we were camping. There were a ton of dogs there of course, and she was obsessed!

We decided NOT to take our dog since he isn't the best with other dogs and we knew we would have our hands full with Olive, but my sister and her boyfriend, Chris, brought their dog Sampson (Sammy for short) - who is the sweetest dog in the world!! He listens and is very tolerant of kids and let Olive pet him all the time.

Seeing dogs even interrupted her meal times - how could she concentrate on eating when there were so many dogs around! It was at times ridiculous how she would carry on - "dog dog dog dog dog dog" - man I wish I had video of it!

Olive and Sammy

You can see the JOY on her face!

Love the doggy!

Sammy and his Daddy relaxing in the hammock. This is how cool this dog is!

1st Camping trip!

We took Olive to her first Bradstreet camping trip this year! Every year for quite a while (not sure when it started) my Mom's family goes camping in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest over Labor Day weekend, last year we didn't make it because Olive was only 2 weeks old, but this year we embarked on the adventure.

Olive had fun with her Nana, Papa and Aunt RiRi and loved getting dirty and playing with rocks. Naps were more difficult and the nights were a bit rough on Mom and Dad! It was soooo cold at night - we had Olive bundled up pretty good and I don't think she was cold, but she would wake up crying in the middle of the night and it was hard to console her - finally she ended up sleeping with us the 2nd half of the night both nights - which meant not too much sleep for Mom! Needless to say, next year if we make it we will be a little more prepared for the cold nights!

She loved seeing all the dogs (post about that soon), playing with Papa (she actually started saying "papa" too!) the huckleberry pancakes and especially the dirty rocks!

Facing forward in Daddy's truck for the first time on our way to the campgrounds! Fun!

In the "boat" swinging on the hammock with Papa, such a Papa's girl!

Chillin in front of the fire!

The whole dirty fam (we missed you Aunt Annie and cousins!)

Its Official, She's Walking!

Okay this video is really bad because I took it with my cell phone - but it was taken shortly after she really started walking on her own - which really was a couple of weeks ago. About 2 weeks or so after her birthday she started walking across the room on her own and everyday she gets better and better. Its so cool how she improves every day - less falls and shuffles to catch her balance - so cute! Can't believe my baby is truly a toddler now!
