Chatting with Jack

Jack and Lauren came over for a visit last Friday and Olive and Jack had a little conversation. I was only able to catch the tail end of it, but it must have been some conversation - I think they were discussing all of the fabulous toy options! So happy we have cousins that live so close!

Go Mariners!

Since baseball season has started, it was time to bust out the Mariners outfit! Mommy found this cute pink Mariners track suit at a consignment store, and it still had the store tags on it! Even though Daddy is an Athletics fan, he is cool with Olive rooting for the Mariners, since she is a Seattle girl! Go Mariners!!

8 Months Old!

Olive turned 8 months old last Thursday the 15th - wow how time flies! She is sitting up (has been since before 6 months), has 2 teeth on the bottom, likes her solid foods (especially sweet potatoes), loves laughing at the dog and Daddy and waves her hands to music. She isn't crawling yet, but she loves to stand, so she just might skip that phase all together! Oh and she is a fabulous napper (Mommy knocks on wood), taking 2 almost 2 hour naps a day!

1st Easter

So it took me a few weeks to finally blog about Easter, but I had to gather pictures from several cameras - Nana's , Ri Ri's.... We went to Vancouver for Easter and dyed eggs at Aunt Annie's house with Olive's cousins, then had Easter breakfast at Aunt Ri Ri's house. We ended the weekend at church watching cousin Max get baptized, it was a fun weekend! Oh and Olive had a very pretty dress to wear to church, thanks to Grandma Robertson!

We got to take home Olive's art that she made at school. Painting with your hands and feet is such fun! Mommy will have to have some painting sessions at home! Isn't she so talented!
